University of Texas: Austin Walking Tour

In February of 2011 I opted to take the walking tour of the University of Texas: Austin, on my own. During the tour, we visited college classrooms, visited with students, walked through potential dorms, and met with an admissions counselor. Taking this tour affirmed my decision to place UT at the top of my list because I was able to picture myself on the campus without my parents. I think it is important to stay with someone currently enrolled at your intended school, preferably a freshman, so that you can grasp a feel for college life at that particular university. I really enjoyed my visit at UT and will hopefully be there next fall.
